Business Development Manager
Due to even more projected growth for 2025, our award winning client is seeking an experienced BDM to join their team, focused on the delivery of marketing / digital agency services in the B2B sector. The role is based in the southern Gold Coast region in a strong company with a great team and strong reputation in the market.

Who would it suit?
Ideally the role would suit an experienced salesperson / BDM that has previous experience directly in this sector, however we are also open to a proven performer in similar markets. You would also possess strong analytical skills, a results-driven mindset, a passion for what you do, be up-to- date with industry trends, and possess exceptional relationship-building skills and effective communication skills.
What you will be doing in the role:
- Identify and close new business opportunities
- Account management of current clients
- Following inbound leads and enquiries and converting sales
- Researching new leads, cold-calling and meeting of prospects
- Sending quotes and information packages and writing proposals
- Booking product/service demonstrations
- Providing handover of new client solutions to the Project team for delivery
and installation - Attending trade shows and seminars from external suppliers and partners
Requirements for the role include:
- Experience in new business development within the sector, solution selling and closing sales
- Target driven with experience working to and reporting on KPI's
- Strong prospecting skills to build pipeline
- The ability to create and present proposals
- Strong customer service skills as well as not being afraid to pick up the phone and call clients
- Excellent client relationship management ability
- Good communication, grammatical and spelling skills
- Passion for career progression and professional development
- Works well in a dynamic environment and thrives on deadlines
- Must have a current driver’s licence due to client visits
